Mulcahy & Viney splits in two
28.04.08 Alison Flood
Mulcahy & Viney will divide into two new literary agencies from 1st July. Agent Jonathan Conway will continue to work with Ivan Mulcahy, while the agency's editorial director for children's books, Pippa Le Quesne, will work with Charlie Viney.
Ivan Mulcahy and Charlie Viney said: “We set up our business together in 2002 as equal partners and have together enjoyed very strong growth over the last six years with a hundred authors contracted to publishers round the world across a wide variety of genres. We knew from early on that ultimately we would each want to run our own agency but always agreed that any change should wait until the momentum of the business and broad depth of both of our client lists allowed this to happen smoothly. We will continue to work together on selected projects in the future."
