Hannah Montana brand grows
Disney's popular Hannah Montana brand is set to grow, as one of its stars, Miley Cyrus has signed a book deal. According to BBC News, the 15-year-old's memoir will focus on her relationship with her mother Leticia.
The book, to be released next spring, will feature previously unseen photos, family stories and "a look at her inner circle of loved ones".
The teenage pop star, whose father is US country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, topped the North American box office in February with a 3D film of her 2007 tour.
Hannah Montana is a popular children's brand, encompassing the TV series, films, a live show and books. The tie-in books from Parragon regularly top the bestseller charts.
