Book trade Nibbies chooses shortlists
This year's British Book Trade Awards shortlists see Arcadia, Atlantic Books, David Fickling Books, Fig Tree, Jonathan Cape and Pan Macmillan compete for the imprint of the year, while Woolworths' Matt Bridge, Sam Harrison from Waterstone's, W H Smith Travel's Craig Hillier and Georgina Hanratty of independent Tales on Moon Lane battle it out for Young Bookseller of the Year.
Other awards include marketing campaign of the year, with the Harry Potter series by J K Rowling (Bloomsbury), Long Way Down by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman (Little, Brown),Nigella Express by Nigella Lawson (Chatto), The Raw Shark Texts Steven Hall (Canongate),Rebus 20 with Ian Rankin (Orion),Vintage Classics (Vintage), and Simon Sebag Montefiore's Young Stalin (Weidenfeld) in the running.
The awards will be announced at this year's BA Conference in May.
