Monica Seles writes memoir
Tennis legend Monica Seles is writing her autobiography for Penguin, reports Sports Illustrated. The book, currently untitled, will be published in 2009 by Penguin imprint Avery.
"I hope to share how I found balance, strength and happiness in my life after a rollercoaster ride of exhilarating accomplishment and sometimes overwhelming tragedy," Seles said.
Sports Illustrated reports that Seles, 34, won nine Grand Slams, but is also known for being stabbed in the back in 1993 at a tournament in Germany, by a man who climbed out of the stands.
