11.03.08 Graeme Neill
Steve Carter has been appointed the new managing director of Bertram Library Services, replacing David Horry who is leaving the business next month.
Carter has been working alongside Horry for the past two years as operations director. He takes up his new job with immediate effect but Horry will work alongside him until the end of April.
Michael Neil, managing director of Bertram Group, paid tribute to Horry's work over the past four years. "We will miss David very much and would like to thank him for the huge contribution he has made to the Bertrams group," he said. "We have known of his plans for a while and are fortunate in being able to appoint Steve Carter as managing director.
"Steve will give us continuity and a huge amount of experience to continue to build and develop our library services business and we wish him every success in his new role."
