Denton to take SameDay private

Charles Denton, the deputy chairman of ArgentVive, has announced he is planning to take the business into private ownership.
The board of directors of the company, which was previously known as SameDayBooks, has given permission to Denton to further examine the books. The e-commerce group has not received any other offers.
Denton owns 42% of the company's share capital. In its most recent results, ArgentVive revealed that it increased its losses five-fold to £246,000 in the half-year to 30th September, on sales that slipped to £2.7m.
