Six-figure pre-empt for Webb teen series
26.02.08 John Ryan
Walker Books has made a six-figure pre-empt for Irish women's fiction author Sarah Webb's three-book series for young teenagers, Amy Green, Teen Agony Queen. The first title, Boy Trouble, is due in early 2009. The deal was struck by Gill Evans with agent Ali Gunn.
Webb, who was previously Eason’s children’s book-buyer, said: "After almost sixteen years in children's books I feel like I’ve come full circle. I've kept diaries all my life and the Amy Green books are co-written by me as a 13 year old."
