Headline has sex in the city
25.02.08 Alison Flood
Headline has acquired the official Sex and the City film tie-in book, Sex and the City: The Movie. It will publish the book to coincide with the film's opening on 30th May.
The deal was negotiated by Emma Tait, non-fiction publisher at Headline, and Lia Ronnen at Melcher Media. The book will feature more than 300 full-color images, will include interviews with the stars and producers, and offer a behind-the-scenes look at how this legendary television series has been transformed into a film.
Tait said: "This is the official companion to the film and promises to be both enormous fun to publish and a really quality product for Sex and the City TV and film fans. During the six years that Sex and the City was screened it won countless awards and was consistently one of the highest rated programmes on air. It’s a fabulous project."
