Liz Jones moves to Weidenfeld
Weidenfeld & Nicolson has acquired the latest book from Mail on Sunday columnist Liz Jones. Publisher Alan Samson and paperback division m.d. Susan Lamb bought THE EXmoor FILES from Robert Caskie of MacFarlane Chard Associates.
To be published in June 2009, the book promises a "hilarious but poignant warts-and-all" account of Jones's new life in an old farmhouse in Exmoor, Somerset, after leaving her husband and London townhouse.
According to the publisher, it is a "funny, honest, even brutal account of what it is like to start over again, on your own, in a completely different environment".
Jones's previous book, Liz Jones's Diary, was published by Quadrille.
