Ridley back to Book People
13.02.08 Alison Flood
Susie Ridley, who left The Book People a year ago to take up a role as Waterstone's children's buyer, is returning to her former employer as group marketing director.
She will be responsible for making sure The Book People maintains its "voice and very clear marketing strategy" for each of its brands, said c.e.o. Seni Glaister. Ridley starts at TBP on 10th March.
"We've got a lot going on and we've got to make sure we're true to each of our brands," said Glaister. "It's lovely for us that she's coming back—we don't lose a lot of people, so when we lose someone good, it's a real blow."
