22.01.08 Graeme Neill
Waterstone’s will close its Inverness High Street branch on 9th February. The retailer is in consultation with the store's ten full-time staff and hopes to find them employment in another branch.
Waterstone's has another store in Inverness Eastgate—a former Ottakar's branch—which will continue to trade. The closure is part of m.d. Gerry Johnson’s three-year plan to shed 10& of floor space.
