Lonely Planet's Katharine Leck is moving to rival travel publisher APA Publications to take up the role of publishing director. APA comprises Insight Guides and Berlitz.
Leck has been at Lonely Planet for seven years, most recently in the role of global publisher for guidebooks and maps. She previously spent ten years at Random House in a variety of roles.
Leck said: "I'm delighted to be joining APA Publications and see great potential for new products and brand growth worldwide, building on the strength of the lists and team already in place."
