Crewe cuts deal for Morris
21.12.07 Tom Tivnan
Profile's Daniel Crewe has bought UK and Commonwealth rights in Why the West Rules . . . for Now by Ian Morris.
The book, due in October 2009, examines the history, archaeology and social science of the past 50,000 years to explain when, how and why paths of development have differed in the East and West, and what this means for the 21st century.
The deal was done through Kate Walker at Abner Stein, on behalf of Sandy Dijkstra at Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency.
