Heneage on Booker panel
Ottakar's founder James Heneage will sit on the panel of judges for next year's Man Booker Prize for Fiction.The 2008 judging panel will be chaired by Michael Portillo, former MP and cabinet minister, who will also be joined by literary journalist Alex Clark, novelist Louise Doughty and Hardeep Singh Kohli, TV and radio broadcaster.
The prize will mark its 40th anniversary next year, with celebrations planned around the UK throughout the year. The prize will also make available the 41 prize-winning titles as e-books, and the award itself was rebranded with new logos.
