Cotterell leaves Piatkus
Piatkus deputy m.d. Philip Cotterell is leaving the publisher after 25 years after completing his part in the sale of the business to Little, Brown. Founder Judy Piatkus is also leaving Piatkus this week.
Little, Brown said Cotterell "played a significant role in building one of the UK’s most successful independent trade publishing houses", adding that he would soon "be taking up new challenges within the industry".
Judy Piatkus said her own future was currently "an open book", adding: "I am leaving Piatkus in good hands with Little Brown and I know how committed Ursula, David and the whole team are to building on our achievements and success."
