Nectar launches books service
UK loyalty card Nectar has teamed up with Gardners to launch Nectar Books. The new service offers cardholders more than 200,000 titles to choose from, with delivery included on purchases and guaranteed to arrive within five working days of the order.
Customers will be able to use their Nectar loyalty points through nectar.com to buy the titles, and there will also be special offers on selected books, to change on a monthly basis. Offers will vary, from 200 points off to as much as 50% off.
John Sheekey, Nectar marketing director, said: "We are always looking at new and innovative ways for our members to treat themselves, and by linking up with Gardners Books we are able to offer a great new service. Not only is there a vast selection of titles to choose from, but the fact that delivery is included within the price of the book is something quite unique that provides even more value to Nectar cardholders."
This month’s special offers, which are available until 31st December include 50% off Richard Hammond’s autobiography On the Edge and Michael Palin’s New Europe, also at half price for 2,400 points.
Nectar has also recently added 60 new retailers to its eStores portal, with Waterstone's one of them, bringing the number of online brands on the site to 160. Other retailers include eBay.co.uk, HMV, Currys, Apple Store and Amazon.com. Customers to the portal earn two loyalty points for every pound they spend.
