Sawdays shows way to go
05.12.07 John Ryan
Bristol-based Sawdays, publisher of the Special Places to Stay guidebook series, has teamed up with satellite navigation software provider RoadTour to provide en route directions and reviews of the best pubs and inns. Nine hundred pubs in England and Wales have been selected from its Pubs & Inns
guidebook with a facility for motorists to specify criteria such as child-friendliness or real ale availability.
The satnav content will be available for users of Garvin and Microsoft Mobile devices and is intended to coincide with the annual migration that takes place in the UK over the Christmas period.
Sawday's electronic Pubs & Inns is available as a download, CD ROM or SD card with prices ranging from £14.95 to £19.95.
