Liverpool literary mag in revamp
Liverpool literary magazine The Reader is relaunching next month, to coincide with the city’s year as Capital of Culture in 2008. The 10th December issue of the quarterly magazine, which combines recommendations and reviews from invidiual readers and reading groups, will be published with a new look and new editor, Philip Davis.
It will feature authors including David Constantine, Josie Dixon, Patrick McGuinness and Erica Wagner, and the first column from new regular contributor Ian McMillan from Radio 3’s “The Verb”.
The re-launch is accompanied by a redesigned website, www.thereader.co.uk, and a new blog site, www.thereaderonline.co.uk, and The Reader also hosts literary festival, “Shipping Lines”, next November to celebrate Capital of Culture.
