Sara O'Keeffe at Orion Publishing has bought UK and Commonwealth rights for debut Tethered by Amy MacKinnon, following a hotly contested auction conducted by Crown Publishing.
O'Keeffe described Tethered as an "unusual, hauntingly atmospheric and beautifully written novel", which is set within the dark confines of a funeral home.
