HC wins Malaysian debut

Malysian debut author Preeta Samarasan's Evening is the Whole Day has gone to HarperCollins in the UK, India and Australia following heated auctions.
Isobel Dixon at Blake Friedmann sold the novel to Mitzi Angel at Fourth Estate in the UK, V K Karthika at HarperCollins India and Linda Funnell at HarperCollins Australia.
Houghton Mifflin will publish in the US and rights have also been sold in nine other countries. Dixon sold the novel on behalf of Ayesha Pande of Collins Literary.
