Dunseath moves up at W&N
Kirsty Dunseath, deputy publishing director at W&N, is to become fiction publishing director of W&N, replacing Helen Garnons-Williams who is leaving the company for Bloomsbury.
Dunseath has been with the Orion Publishing Group since 2002, firstly as editorial director with Phoenix Paperbacks. She moved to the W&N team in 2005. Her list of authors, include Carlos Ruiz Zafón, Alice Walker and Gillian Flynn.
Deputy c.e.o. and group publisher at Orion Malcolm Edwards said: "We are delighted to be in a position to make such an important appointment from within the company. Of course we will miss Helen and wish her well in the future, but we are very fortunate to have, in Kirsty, the ideal replacement. Kirsty's passion and dedication to her authors, and her editorial and publishing skills, are well known to everyone who has worked with her, and I know she will bring all those qualities to her new position."
Kirsty will join the newly-formed Orion Trade executive, and will report to Orion Trade MD Lisa Milton. W&N said that it intended to announce a further appointment in the very near future.
