Director Alex Cox takes one for I B Tauris
I B Tauris has secured the autobiography of film director Alex Cox. Due out in April 2008, X-Films: True Confessions of a Radical Filmmaker tells the life story of the independent British filmmaker whose portfolio includes “Repo Man” and “Sid & Nancy”. Tauris has licensed US rights to Counterpoint/Soft Skull.
Editor Philippa Brewster said: “It’s a gust of fresh air: marvellously written, wry, funny and honest. It’s going to be the indie filmmaker’s bible.”
