30.08.07 Alison Flood
HarperCollins UK has appointed David Roth-Ey as director of audio and e-books. Roth-Ey was previously vice-president and editorial director of Harper Perennial and Harper Paperbacks in the US. His new role in London will see him “championing and exploiting” e-book and audio channels within HC.
He will report to digital development director Jim Green, and will oversee publishing strategy for the two lists, as well as being responsible for acquiring digital rights from other publishers and developing relations with audio and e-book aggregators. He starts on 18th September.
