Rowling to appear on Blue Peter
J K Rowling is to appear in a Blue Peter special edition to mark the launch of the seventh and final Harry Potter book.
The BBC1 show has launched a nationwide competition for 25 children to win a trip to see the Blue Peter studios and meet the novelist.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is due to hit the shops at one minute after midnight on the following day. To enter, children must write a question for J K Rowling on one side of A4 paper and draw a portrait of themselves as a witch or wizard on the other.
