Diana anniversary to spark book boom
The tenth anniversary of Diana's death is set to spark a commercial frenzy, according to the Telegraph. Publishing houses expect a spike in sales of books about the Princess, including The Diana Chronicles by Tina Brown, the former editor of Vanity Fair, and a reissue in paperback of Diana, Princess of Wales by Sarah Bradford.
Waterstones, the book store chain, said a "mini boom" was predicted while Amazon, the online store, said it expected a memorial concert at Wembley, organised by Princes William and Harry to coincide with their mother's birthday on July 1, to spark increased interest in related books, CDs and DVDs. An audio CD, entitled The People's Princess, will be released by Larry King, the American chat show host.
