Truss attacks literary imitators
12.02.07 Philip Jones
Lynne Truss has launched what the Independent describes as an outspoken attack on copy-cat publishers, who have spoofed her bestselling book Eats, Shoots & Leaves. Truss said that she did not know how publishers of such imitations "live with themselves".
Truss also attacks send ups such as Barry Trotter and Blarnia novels, describing most literary pastiches as "dreadful". She later concedes that she has not read any recent parodies.
