Amazon inks digital deal with Bloomsbury author

Amazon has signed a deal with self-help author Gavin de Becker for his e-books to be sold for the first time.
His titles The Gift of Fear and Just 2 Seconds (Bloomsbury) will be exclusive to the Kindle store for one year. Both titles have been expanded and updated for their digital release.
The Gift of Fear, a guide to protecting oneself against potential attackers, will contain a new foreword from the author. Just 2 Seconds, described by Amazon as "the most complete and definitive resource on preventing assassination", has new and updated content.
Russ Grandinetti, vice president for Kindle content, said: "The nationally bestselling The Gift of Fear is a perennial bestseller in its category, and de Becker's books have resonated throughout the years with our customers. We're excited to work with de Becker in sharing these exclusive electronic versions of his books, now available in the Kindle Store for wireless download in less than 60 seconds."
