Harper to take over CWA chair

Random House author Tom Harper is to take over from Margaret Murphy as chair of the Crime Writers Association (CWA).

The author of The Lost Temple and The Book of Secrets among others (Arrow), he also writes historical novels under the name Edwin Thomas for Bantam Press.

Each incumbent is in the role for a year, and is chosen by the CWA committee. Harper will take over the role in April 2010 after the CWA’s a.g.m.
