A leading international, peer-reviewed scientific journal in the medical field is now seeking a talented Web Support Editor to join their succesful team in office in Central London.

You will be reporting into the Managing editor of the journal and be responsible for support the Managing Editor in processing the journal submissions and management of online content related to the journal. You will ideally come from a background in STM (though this is not essential) and you will also have a thorough understanding and experience within online publishing and emerging technology's including social media.

You will need to be extremely organised and have good attention to detail. The majority part of this role will be processing and administering the journal submissions. Good communications skills are also a must!

This is a fantastic role and opportunity as the role is so varied. It encompasses all areas within online publishing including web analytics, SEO, future trends, emerging 2.0 technologies. They will be looking for someone who can give a good creative and strategic input into the online publishing model. It is a great role for someone looking to really launch their career fully into the world of online journal publishing.
