A distinguished and exciting academic publisher in Oxford is looking for a Web and Media Designer to deliver quality, high visual email and web marketing designs. This is an excellent and challenging role for a graphic designer who is passionate about intelligent, creative design.

Key duties:

• Design templates for electronic direct mail
• Create high-quality print- and web-ready artwork
• Cross reference database information effectively with the digital marketing platform
• Create engaging graphics on a variety of online platforms
• Make appropriate use of video and animation to enhance customer engagement and company message
• Work closely with the Marketing department to develop brand guidelines
• Advise and support company departments on branding

Experience / skills required:

• Graphic design or equivalent professional experience
• Experience of email marketing and web design best practice
• Proven experience of web design for commercial websites
• Working knowledge of designing B2B or B2C marketing emails
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS and building websites using web CMS
• Excellent skills in problem solving and organisation
• A flexible and creative approach
