Are you an enthusiastic Production Editor looking for your next step in Publishing?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join and work closely with the editorial department of a global and established brand as a Production Editor to work within the Journals Production department.

As a Production Editor you will be responsible for the following duties:

• The publication of journals.
• Appraising the quality of work carried out by freelancers.
• Providing support services to editor(s), board members and contributors.
• Informing the Group Editor, Commissioning Editor and Marketing Manager of any important developments or problems with the journals.

To be considered for this Production Editor position, you will need to have proven experience of production/editorial work with journals or books. You will also be an experienced proof reader with a good understanding of typesetting, printing and design.

In addition, you will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will also have excellent administration skills and an eye for detail.
