One of the worlds leading Educational publishers is seeking a Solutions Director for their Asia Pacific division to be responsible for their solutions business in Hong Kong and Taiwan specifically.  This position will be based in their Hong Kong office.

The Solutions Director will be responsible for planning and managing the company’s solutions business in the education sector that demands imaginative, integrated solutions across the various businesses. It will be your duty to develop, drive and implement business plans to ensure the delivery of profitable growth in the education solutions space, covering curriculum, content, qualifications, teacher development, assessment and education services.  You will work with education ministries and departments as well as public and private education institutions to deliver the solutions and services.  Other duties will include: to uncover opportunities, shape solutions, establis and develop partnerships, develop pricing and commercial models and lead tendering activities.  Furthermore, you will also oversee the bid management, business forecasting and delivery of education projects for the Hong Kong and Taiwan region.

A passion for education and experience in education, consultancy, technology or the public sector in this territory is a key requirement.  With an in-depth understanding of the education sector in Hong Kong and Taiwan, the successful candidate will have proven solutioning and leadership abilities, be highly motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to use business judgment to think strategically whilst acting tactically. The ability to work across different levels of customer and internal organizations would be helpful, and agood command of English, and Mandarin would be hugely beneficial.In return our client offers a competitive salary package along with bonus and benefits.
