Description:

A leading international academic publisher based in the Oxford area is looking to recruit a Senior Systems Analyst to work within their IT Department. This role will provide IT support to the business including technical back-up, solutions and IT problem resolution for the whole Group. First line helpdesk support, second line technical services support and third line infrastructure support will also be required.

You will also assist in the management of third party suppliers and act as the IT interface to suppliers maintaining the correct level of support is applied to ensure the smooth running of business systems and processes. The role also includes support and maintenance of all IT infrastructure and equipment used by the business on a day to day basis, providing the required periodic report as necessary and the ongoing monitoring of systems in terms of performance and security.

You should have a knowledge of the following:
• Windows XP/7
• MS Server 2003/2008
• Office 2007/2010

Plus Basic networking skills, DHCP, DNS, active directory administration, Exchange Mailbox Administration; Blackberry/Mobile Device configure and support; LAN's & TCP/IP; Knowledge of Mac OS would be advantageous.
