Description:

A leading trade publisher based in London requires an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to provide maternity cover from mid July 2012. You will lead campaigns for brand authors and debuts, including producing social media campaigns, trailers and sell-in material.

Key duties:

• Create and instigate print and digital campaigns for brand authors and debuts
• Devise and implement social media campaigns
• Work with film companies to create hard-hitting trailers for use online
• Design and create Point of Sale and other sell-in material
• Develop and create relationships with reading groups, on line and off
• Ongoing promotion of the key brand authors on the list

Experience / skills required:

• Proven track record of delivering high profile marketing campaigns in trade publishing
• Experience of managing campaigns from conception to implementation, including budget management
• Up-to-date experience and expertise with digital marketing campaigns
• Experience of managing marketing information on internal bibliographic systems
• Ability to conceive and create imaginative pitches for both new and existing authors
