A leading educational publisher based in Central London is looking to appoint a Senior Marketing Executive to join their Vocational & Applied Division within the Schools & Colleges sector.

The main purpose of the role is to work closely with the qualifications and resources teams, managing key campaigns and contributing to the development of new marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities include: creating, planning and delivering marketing strategies and tactical plans for a number of key product brands and sectors to meet revenue targets, using the full marketing mix; act as a member of the divisional marketing team, inputting into sector-level creative marketing strategies and projects; execute, monitor and report on successful marketing campaigns, delivering to a high standard, on time and to budget; and tracking spend against budget and create monthly ROI reports on key campaigns.

The successful candidate will have: demonstrable marketing experience, with a proven track record in direct and digital marketing and some experience of creating strategic marketing plans; creative copywriting skills for both print and digital, with an ability to develop powerful messages for target segments; evidence of strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with a wide range of people across different locations. A background in education is extremely desirable but not essential, and qualifications in marketing would also be a plus.
