Our client is a prestigious international publisher of books, journals and electronic products for academic, educational and professional markets and they are looking for talented Sales Representatives to join their busy team in Central and Northern Spain. As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for selling their highly-regarded health science list of textbooks to further education and university professionals in Spain. The role will require some field calling in and around Spain. Key responsibilities will include identifying and contacting key lecturers in the territory with appropriate products, ensuring titles on campaign lists are proposed to decision makers on courses to maximise adoptions of titles, liaising with marketing and editorial departments as necessary and communicating information to relevant sales representatives to ensure bookshop orders are obtained and sales are maximised, maintain a pipeline of both existing adoptions and new opportunities, and provide a monthly progress report.

With fluent Spanish and a high level of English, the successful candidate will have proven sales experience, ideally in an academic, educational or professional publishing environment, excellent administrative skills, an organised approach and a willingness to travel. You should enjoy working in a sales environment, and working to targets. You will be a great team player and able to work independently too.
