Description:
One of the UK's top independent non-fiction publishers is looking for a new sales executive to help develop new opportunities. This is an office-based role in the centre of a historic town on the West Sussex coast, and is an exciting role for someone looking to build their sales career within a friendly independent company.
Key duties:
- Identify and develop new and existing sales opportunities in UK
- Maintain and develop strong new and existing customer relations
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions and events
- Handle repeat sales to designated existing customers
- Generate new business and meet targets
Experience / skills required:
- You must have prior experience of working with publishing or gift-industry sales
- Strong negotiation skills are essential
- Be comfortable with telesales and cold calling
- Be proactive at seeking new sales opportunities
- Be comfortable working independently and constantly striving to beat targets
- A confident telephone manner is essential for this role
