Are you a highly analytical candidate with an aptitude for market research analysis and an interest in publishing? This Research Executive role provides a unique opportunity to join a small team, providing a customer insight service for this respected academic Oxfordshire based publisher. Working with clients around the globe, you will developing and analysing customer tracking programs, overseeing research projects across a variety of areas, communicating your results to support strategic decision making and liaising with agency partners. The role would suit a motivated candidate with a logical mind and a keen head for figures, or someone looking for their next research role, as the role can also be considered at a more senior level, and additional responsibilities.  A degree with some mathematical/statistical content, for example, as part of a dissertation or research project, would be an advantage, though SPSS training can be provided. The successful candidate will be a strong problem solver with an aptitude to learn new programs and software, and will possess a high level of attention to detail, along with analytical and problem solving expertise, and strong communication skills. Experience working with surveys, and/or manipulating and analysing secondary data sources such as usage and sales data would be advantageous as would knowledge of the academic publishing industry.
