Regional Sales Manager, Corporate and Biomedical, Benelux, Nordic Countries. 

Our client is a leading provider of reference databases for students, library patrons, doctors, nurses, business people and researchers around the world. As they continue to grow, they seek qualified individuals who possess the drive and vision it takes to be a part of a success-oriented team. I am searching for motivated and energetic individuals to join their international sales staff as a Regional Sales Manager, Corporate and Biomedical markets. 

Essential Functions include: 

• Achieve a goal of sales growth for assigned markets as defined by company goals set each year 
• Develop sales strategy, pricing and product selection for named markets 
• Uncover and sell to prospects in named territory 
• Achieve an expert level of knowledge of the companies products and competition 
• Work on renewals of large accounts as necessary and ensure renewal of target accounts 
• Measure and report all opportunities in named markets and territory by providing sales projections 
• Track all activity related to visits, calls, etc and use reporting to identify opportunities 
• Provide feedback on marketing, product development and technical support 
• Coordinate and perform customer training as necessary in cooperation with the implementation specialist 
• Work with technical development and support to provide necessary feedback regarding customer’s needs and product development to further market growth 
• Travel: (40-70%); identify and attend national and international conferences as needed 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelors degree or 3-5+ years of successful sales experience. Retail experience does not apply. 
• Must be fluent in English and Dutch, an additional Nordic language out of the territory is a plus 

Preferred Skills: 

• Excellent verbal communication; Excellent written communication; Leadership/supervisory experience; Positive attitude & team player; Strong analytical abilities 
• Industry and market experienced preferred
