A leading STM publisher based in central London is looking to recruit a Quality Control Manager to manage the quality control of the content/data and to provide a central point of coordination for production services.

You will therefore have solid experience in managing both a production department and have an excellent eye for detail. You will be responsible for ensuring that the standards are continually improved and raised to the highest quality. You will be managing the quality control of all XML streams so they are fit for purpose for incorporation into products across the portfolio including websites, printed material, data sets, mobile and tablet formats.

You will oversee a capable production team and will be the line manager for this team. You will need to show gravitas and the ability to lead a team effectively. The team are quite capable and so they will not need micro management but more support and guidance on how they can become more efficient and raise the current standards.
