A market leading, global educational publisher is seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Programme Publisher with fluent Arabic language skills for their Higher Education and Applied Learning market in the United Arab Emirates. Based in our client’s Dubai office, or alternatively based in the UK but with regular travel, the Programme Publisher will be responsible for leading the development of products in line with the regional needs.

The Programme Publisher will be primarily responsible for implementing a digital product strategy for the sector, prioritising investment in new product development, and increasing further engagement with end-users in the development of products and the move to non-traditional forms of collaboration and co-development. You will identify & profile key target markets & customers of Arabic content and you will be responsible for researching market needs and keeping pace with trends and developments, as well as identify and commission authors, contributors and advisors. The Programme Publisher will also take a lead role in financial planning with input, advice and recommendations to line Managers on all business planning cycles.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience developing content and learning solutions to meet the needs of native Arabic learners in the educational sector. You will be a skilled multi-tasker with excellent project management and organisational skills along with strong commercial awareness. Experience of working with and analysing financial data to improve performance outcomes would be beneficial and fluency in Arabic and English is a must.
