The children`s imprint of a leading, global London based publisher is looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to take responsibility for the day to day running of a varied list of children`s titles from concept through to delivery.  This is a fabulous imprint, incorporating young children`s to teenage books, including novelty.

Key duties will include: overseeing the production of all books, new, reprint and specials to ensure timely delivery of products; contribute towards new projects with production knowledge and suggestions; negotiate and manage supplier relationships, including scale prices and procedures.  You will also get involved with developing and implementing company wide strategies in relation to suppliers and other business needs.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced production professional with children`s book production experience to expand their career and take on more responsibility and develop skills and experience within children`s publishing.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable, previous production experience within children`s books, with a good understanding of the print and reprographic processes.  You will have excellent negotiating, problem solving and numeracy skills and able to project manage and deal with budgets.  This role carries a competitive salary and good company benefits.
