Are you an experienced Production professional who loves children’s books? Our client is a central London based children’s publishing house producing a wide range of fiction and non-fiction children’s books, including a number of well-known brands and prestigious authors.

The Production Manager will join the busy Production Department to cover a maternity leave, reporting to the Publishing Operations Director. You will be overseeing a team producing our list of high quality products, ensuring standards for quality, budget and timescale are met.  

The successful candidate will have extensive experience producing books and other items in Asia, Europe and the UK, as well as an excellent grasp of issues surrounding safety legislation, freight, paper and ethical manufacturing. You will have experience leading a team, and be a proactive, bright and innovative individual with substantial experience in foreseeing and resolving problems.
