 This Production Assistant vacancy is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some previous production experience, or a recent graduate from a publishing course. Based in East Oxfordshire, this Production services company is looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and customer orientated candidate to join them. Responsibilities will range from drawing up specifications, estimates and quotes, handling the production of titles and reprints under supervision, checking dummies and supporting the production team in various capacities. You must have strong communication skills, as well as solid problem solving and organisational skills- this customer focussed role will be demanding and challenging- an excellent opportunity for someone with a publishing qualification or previous production experience. You will need to have a clear understanding of printing, pricing, binding and safety issues, as well as being detail orientated on administrative tasks.
