Our client a successful mass market childrens publisher now seek a special publishing individual to fulfil the role of Product Manager. 

The Product Manager is a brand newly created post and this role involves working very closely with the Key Account management team on developing their category management plans. Your role also includes managing space within the supermarket chains to maximise sales.

You will need to be a creative person who can develop bespoke childrens book and related products that will work for the mass markets, but also importantly you will need to be very commercially minded to ensure that the numbers work.

A key skill needed for this role is the ability to communicate well with sales, publishing and production and to be able to follow up on initiatives to ensure that all opportunities are exploited.
