Pre-School Designer/Senior Designer
Picture Book and Gifts

At Egmont we are passionate about children’s publishing. Our Picture Book and Gift department is now recruiting for a gifted Pre-School Designer to join their busy team.

The role involves working closely with editorial and production colleagues to develop and deliver exciting new concepts and formats. You will relish the chance to use your existing experience to shape this fast-growing list, producing innovative ideas with true commercial potential.

To be considered for this vacancy you will demonstrate a genuine love of children's books, younger titles in particular, and good market awareness. You will also have a passion for design, together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As well as being highly proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, you will be organised, deadline-driven, and good at building strong working relationships with illustrators and other in-house departments alike. A knowledge of digital publishing is not essential, but will be an advantage.
