Description:

A leading professional publisher based in London is looking to appoint an Online Product Editor to manage, maintain and test the operational delivery for a range of content and online products. Please note this is a one year, part time contract.

Key duties:

• Monitor and identify new/updated content for online publication
• Perform pre- or post-conversion editorial work on content
• Ensure database records are kept current, accurate and complete for published content
• Run weekly reports
• Obtain content from file locations and coordinate transfer of items for conversion
• Review customer feedback to appropriate internal teams
• Build and maintain effective business relationships

Experience / skills required:

• Strong editorial skills
• Good skills in software and/or online product development processes
• Proven experience of working with single source and structured data
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of conversion technologies, data feeds and delivery mechanisms
• A firm understanding of user requirements for online products
• Experience of working with National and European legislation data would be an advantage
