This is a great opportunity within a market-leading, global educational publisher, who are looking to recruit a Campus Marketing Manager or Senior Campus Marketing Executive to their Higher Education books list. The role, which can be based at either their London or Basingstoke office will report to the Head of College Marketing and will work across their niche key frontlist.

Working with the editorial and sales teams you will develop knowledge of your market- place and your product to influence customer decisions and use this knowledge to develop strategic sales and marketing plans which you will then implement.  The workload will be varied as you will create direct mail campaigns, sales kits and POS.  Other core duties of this role will involve researching the market, your own products and competitor activity.  You will present information to internal colleagues and customers; run events and give support to adoption sales colleagues throughout the UK and Europe.  You will also manage the tracking progress against sales targets and report this information to senior management.  There will be regular travel throughout the UK and Europe and candidates should take this into consideration before applying.

Our client is looking for a marketing professional who is able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of a field-sales force; confident and results-driven, who is able to develop effective product positioning within sales and marketing strategies and who is able to write copy that will sell, but who also has a good track record of successful direct marketing campaigns,  ideally with experience from a Higher Education or Publishing background.  You will be adept at problem-solving, highly analytic and able to analyse qualitative and quantative data.  Excellent at presenting, you will also be a brilliant communicator with the ability to persuade and influence customers and colleagues through all mediums.
