Location : Germany 

Salary : €45-50k Basic + Uncapped Bonus 

Our client, a leading STM society is looking for an enthusiastic, consultative and ambitious Sales Executive to join their Publishing team selling journals and archives and eBook products. 

You will have responsibility for developing and proactively managing relationships across Germany and Eastern Europe in order to exceed ambitious sales targets. 

This will be a home based role but you will need to be prepared to travel extensively across the region (including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe), selling to universities, consortia and corporate customers. Your role will include faculty calling, managing subscription agents, forecasting and reporting sales performance. 

Essential Skills and qualifications: 

• Previous sales experience is essential; should possess good negotiating skills, able to handle customer objections, and be self-motivated.Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role. 
• Strong language skills - we require fluency in both English and German. 
• Experience of Excel / PowerPoint / Word is essential. 
• Educated to degree level is desirable but not essential. 
• Experience of CRM tool such as Salesforce is desirable. 
• Valid, clean driving licence.
