Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a leading scholarly publisher of books and journals, based near to Leeds in Yorkshire. Due to increasing growth, our client is looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced International Marketing Manager for the EMEA territories, to manage and co-ordinate the marketing strategy within the region, in line with the company`s global strategy. This role will involve the development and implementation of marketing communications activities for all products and services. Based in the EMEA team and working closely with the Marketing Communications department this role is essential in providing a link between external stakeholders and the company.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Feed into and support the development of the regional marketing strategy (in line with the global marketing strategy)
- Produce a comprehensive marketing schedule outlining all activity for the year ahead and measure and report on the ROI
- Implement and coordinate activities and campaigns including prospecting, customer development, usage development and general awareness
- Ensure that all marketing activity meets the regional objectives of generating leads for potential sales and driving usage of company products and services
- Undertake extensive brand awareness activity within established, new and potential markets
- Produce and distribute regional marketing and sales collateral as appropriate
- Carry out conference support activities for events within the region
- Regularly gather, analyse, interpret and distribute competitor, market, product and customer feedback
- Ensure brand consistency across all activities
- Work with the marketing and EMEA teams to facilitate the flow of information between HQ and the regional offices, including regular feedback on the impact of marketing activities undertaken
Monitoring, controlling and working within the parameters of the regional marketing budget
This is a key role within the team and the successful candidate will have in-depth marketing experience of email marketing; will know how to get the most out of events and will have experience of creating promotional material. You will have demonstrable, sufficient and relevant marketing communications experience; be commercially and culturally aware and able to work effectively with people at all levels and locations. You will be enthusiastic and ambitious, able to demonstrate a commitment to your own continuing development and a team player, ensuring brand consistency across all activities. You will have the energy and ability to cut through and get things done as this role works relatively autonomously.
